I made these.

I love earth friendly toys, esp imagination toys. My Blue Felt Sugar cookies are made from plastic water bottles. Recycled felt.

 

All of my felt foods are original patterns. Concepts derived from my fussiness of cookies. The simpler the cookie, the more I will eat of them! These gorgeous cookies and others like them are avail on my Etsy shop Ant Bethany.

It was Monday yesterday. I am wicked busy and sewing my eye balls out.. Crap, dropped one again.

 

First Born’s school carnival is this Saturday, Sweet Pea turns 4 on Thursday, looking for a legit job, and I have a serious Man-friend… Life is full folks. 

He’s my pick this week.. More Ray. Who’s complaining? That’s right. No one. Enjoy.

It's music. It's not Monday. I am falling head over heels and can't hold it in anymore. I can barely contain myself. Enjoy.

Hungry Wednesday 3/10 Berry Berry Cake

I made my version last night with Strawberries and Raspberries. I prefer Blueberries but wanted to change it up. . So yummy.. I served to my family with vanilla ice cream and it was like Heaven in our mouths.. First Born said it was the best cake he ever had. Yay for me!!

Berry Berry Cake

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 cup melted butter
2/3 cup milk
2 eggs
1-1/2 cups berries, frozen or fresh

Topping:

1/3 cup sugar (for topping)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (for topping)

Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.  In another bowl mix together the melted butter and the milk.  Add to the dry mixture.  Add the eggs and stir until combined.  Pour this into a greased 9 X 13 cake pan.  Sprinkle the blueberries over the top of the batter.  Combine the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the berries.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

Enjoy for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Ta-Da Tuesday 3/9 "Thomas Jefferson"

First Born had a project on Thomas Jefferson a week or so ago. He helped sew his project and wrote a really interesting paper. We decided to complete a primitive doll, the alternative was decorating a potato. Didn't seem like it would be as much fun.
